I have used John not only for personal tax matters, but referred my mother to him as well. He has handled tax matters for the company I worked for prior to me using him as a personal accountant. He is very thorough and detail oriented. He does the very best he can to help you no matter what your situation may be. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with taxes or estate matters.
I normally don't leave reviews, but after getting help with a tax problem from Mr. Furge and staff, I decided I would. Very helpful, took care of my problem with no stress. Very good service.
Amazing! A friend of mine recommended John Furge to me 3 years ago. Since then, John and Jan have both become critical to my company’s financial strategy. Even though we have a wildly variable business, our estimated tax payments are always very accurate and we didn’t owe anything at the end of this year. A huge relief. I’ll continue to recommend them to my peers.
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. We were quoted $500-$1000 and after paying $500 upfront in good faith were we told the fee is now up to $2500. A few days later we were up to $3600. When I told them I felt stuck and was going to share my experience they cancelled me and kept my $500! As an honest business owner, I couldn't ever treat my clients in such a disrespectful manner.
