I'm really glad that Johanna was recommend to me highly by my massage therapist. It was my 7th session that I came in and showed Johanna that one of the point from last session is bruised and I have had headache pain coming from that point. I wanted to take a break that day. Johanna didn’t examine the bruised point or checked on how I was doing. She just said “you are here, why don’t we do the session. I am gonna charge you anyway”. I paid to skip the session and cancel the rest of my treatment. I dont feel my wellbeing was top of mind so I left.

I had a great first experience with acupuncture and am so glad that I chose to see Johanna. She immediately made me feel at ease in her quiet, intimate office. She was also able to fit me into her schedule right away after calling to get in to help my breech baby flip. Johanna used moxibustion to help my baby flip naturally and taught me how to use them myself to take home. She even contacted me the day after my appointment to see how I was doing and to follow up. I’d highly recommend her for those struggling with psychological and emotional trauma. Her fees are reasonable ($75/session) and she’s very gentle when putting in the needles. She genuinely cares about her clients’ well-being and is an extraordinarily good listener. I was born and raised in China, so I never doubted that acupuncture could treat and cure minor illnesses and major diseases alike. Acupuncture is definitely not placebo effect.
