I used Joel for 3 yrs, last time I used his service he used my tax info from the prior yr, which caused a lot of headache and frustration from my point with dealing with the IRS, then he had the audacity to charge me to fill the re-return!!! Not a trustworthy person/business. Be aware!!!!
Crook! Does not give any information on what you actually owe. Is not responsive. Does not help with the needs you actually have. Didn’t turn my taxes in and now I owe $700 more in penalties on an already high bill. Do not go to this person unless you want to be broke by the end of it.
Joel does very efficient work. He is good at what he does.
Joel is hands down the best accountant I have ever had. He is responsive, efficient, and reasonably priced. I am a sole proprietor and he has made my life much easier by structuring his questionairre to provide just the information that he needs. Saves a lot of time vs. the incredible back and forth with some previous accountants.
Joel Smith is an excellent CPA. He is very professional and looks out for my best interests. He prepares my taxes in a timely manner. I was looking for a new CPA a few years ago and am happy that I found him.
