No mere words from an old tired man, could do these hallowed walls justice. The reverence of a man being honored at this location, of whom my merits could never humbleably achieve. Who has laid such a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom, as "Ole Joe". A man a glow in the darkness of self-centeredness and self preservation, a light with service to one's society. A man such as Ole Joe deserves more then my feeble mind can comprehend to structure a cohesive paragraph to dedicate to the man, but I hope my words are of some value... read more

I stumbled upon the Joe Palfini Memorial Hangar today. I ventured inside the aging structure and felt an immediate sense of integrity and service. Whispers fluttered about the decrepit rafters, echoing from the void, and whipping back and forth like branches in a storm. While it was well over 100 degrees inside the structure, I still felt a sense of cold deep down in my subconscious. The echos continued.
