This store has been sold to Classic Pianos, and very experienced and nationally known recognized store. Service by Joe Onofrio and his staff was terrible, the store was dying. Today, the service is excellent, and their inventory is far beyond what Joe Onofrio had. We purchased a 9' Steinway Concert Grand from Onofrio (new owners), and have been exceedingly pleased with the sales, delivery, and support processes. I've played LOTs of pianos (including many Steinway concert grands) and know a good place when I see one. Compared... read more
Horrible and arrogant – This store may or may not have good pianos - I was not willing to stay there long enough to find out. I've played the piano my entire life and the salesman who came over to talk to me completely ignored everything I said, put me on a horrible-quality piano and said I was wrong for not thinking it was the best piano I've ever played. I won't go back ever again. There are plenty of stores in Denver that sell pianos, including the one five minutes north. It's an expensive purchase and there is no reason ... read more
Horrible The arrogant salesperson here treated me like I knew nothing about pianos and did not listen to anything I said. I do not recommend this store.
Great Pianos I bought a beautiful antique, 1920's upright clawfoot, lions head piano 15 years ago from Onofrio Piano Co. We got great service and delivery. The piano plays perfectly.
Great experience – Great store with wonderful pianos. I was especially impressed with the Bosendorfer and Estonia pianos but found a beautiful Kohler & Campbell that played and sounded better than any of the big name Japanese pianos I was considering and at a far better price. Very nice people to do business with.
rude, condescending sales manager – Kenton, the sales manager, was extremely rude, arrogant, and condescending to the point of being insulting. He treated me like I was an ignorant beginner. I would never buy a piano from this store. I had a much better experience at Wells Music, where the staff was helpful, more knowledgeable, and much more respectful.
Joe Onofrio Piano Co has a 4.9 star rating with 293 reviews.
