I primarily do deep tissue massage. Having said that, I can easily and comfortably adjust to all pressures needed. I am thoroughly trained in anatomy, and I am very intuitive on where to go to address the source of trouble. I have advanced training in the Rolf Method of Structural Integration, and enjoying having this knowledge inform my deep tissue work. I've been going to Joann for several years and she is an excellent massage therapist. She does a good job of changing her approach and techniques based on what is needed to provide treatment for the issues presented at each visit. I highly recommend her as a massage therapist.
I've done two sessions with Joann and she has provided relief and improvement in areas where my past therapist could not. She is thoughtful and innate with her work and her technique is strong.
Great food and drinks. It's open so it can be a little loud. But a cozy environment and good service!
Joann is the absolute BEST message therapist I have ever experienced. I have been getting massages semi-regularly for the last 3 years (while living all over New England) to alleviate neck and upper back pain, and no one has been able to offer a treatment like Joann's. She truly understands the structures and fascia of the body to deliver individualized care and an exceptional massage. I can't recommend Joann highly enough!
I suffered from headaches for a few months, which were resolved in 1 massage session! If you're suffering from muscle issues and related problems, Joann knows how to help you with steady and considerate hand. She puts her heart and soul and full extent of her expertise into her massages. Highly recommended!
