Terrible accountants. Don’t go here!
Made an appointment with Darcy, was told on the phone about the situation and my husband was informed that she could help. I get to my appointment, waited 30 minutes since she was late to be told she doesn’t know how to help me and that she has never seen the IRS form I had. I was also told I was in the wrong office and wrong company when she clearly stated that I was on her schedule. Huge waste of time. We used Darcy this year after being referred from another business owner. We usually do our own taxes but we purchased a short term rental home this year and so it was getting too complicated. We also own another business and had her do both the personal and business taxes. She also gave us some solid wealth building strategies. My husband called In today to ask some questions. Was planning on getting our taxes done there. Worst attitude ever. Worst representation. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Never felt so uncomfortable with the attitude this lady gave us. Please don’t EVER tell us you have another person on the other line when I’m over here trying to get you some business. Apparently they do not like new clients. I DONT RECOMMEND THEM. Sorry. Very disrespectful on their part.
Do not use!! Darcey charged us $320 for a simple tax return that took less than 20 minutes to complete. She cited that she had to fill out several forms and that she got us an earned income tax credit but everyone gets the earned income credit. Total rip off. On top of the she was rude and told me, "If you don't like my prices go somewhere else." She even used a credit card we told her not to use for payment. Find another accountant unless you enjoy being spoken to like a child and overpaying for services rendered.
