I enjoyed shopping at the estate sales run by JMS Estate Sales & Service last weekend. The sale was well-organized, and a lot of fun. What really sets them apart is the reasonable and appropriate pricing. They clearly do their homework; items are priced very fairly, meaning I always feel like I'm getting a great deal without the crazy high markups you see at some other sales. John and his team made this process the very best it could be - they were always professional, compassionate, polite, funny and thorough! We were most impressed with the owner's communication and response time. He laid out exactly how the sale would go, was completely transparent about commission and we appreciated that they returned to clean the house and make any small repairs to paint that was scuffed in the process. One year ago we trusted this company with my husbands household furnishings. I mean really trusted them, isn’t that what you’re supposed to do right…. Trust. This company ripped us off royally. I think we got a check for $900. This house had everything, outdoor furniture (because he had an unground pool) washer dryer, trailer, you name it. The really bad thing was we were told we would make $14k, and we knew maybe less than that. But $900? Worst thing is the owner was so rude, he blamed it on someone that worked for him???
