Can’t speak to what it was like before, but I thought it was a beautiful selection and that the employees were very kind and helpful.
Spent about $2k on hats while in NYC. One didn't fit and they said I had to drive back into the city to exchange it. They don't offer refunds. Never again
Great experience, very helpful. Didn't have the hat I originally came in for, but helped me try on and found something I was still proud to walk out with. Thanks JJ Hats for a fantastic experience in the iconic, and oldest hat shop in Manhattan.
This place went dowwwwwnnn. I used to shop quite a bit back in the day. since they sold, I went twice and there was nothing. Just excuses. I don’t think they are really JJ hatters anymore, they bought the name or something similar Back before 2023 it was a legendary place. No more. No more repairs, no experts. no more flashy elegant headwear lining the shelves. They have a young, crew who doesn’t do much, and I didn’t see any of those wild hats anymore.
