I hired Jim to complete an eviction for me and paid the retainer fee up front. After serving two notices, it was determined that it would be a waste of more time and money to take my tenant to court because of her inability to pay. I was expecting a refund of the retainer fees not used in this situation, but despite numerous attempts to make inquiry to Jim, he has only responded with receipt acknowledged, which to me, is just another way of saying, "Too bad, you're had.".
