I took one lesson from Jim so far. He videoed my existing swing then showed me how I'm flipping or casting--resulting in inconsistent contact, fatting, thinning, etc. He compared my swing to pros at impact showing that my trail wrist should be flexed back and lead wrist should be bowed. Using various swing aids, he had me do a drill to curl my trail wrist with club parallel to the ground then swing through while cocking the wrist back—if that makes sense. I had a lesson with Jim and it made a wayy bigger difference than I expected. I came in struggling with a bad slice. within a single session he was able to identify exactly what was causing it and walk me through simple adjustments that immediately improved my swing. My time Jim has significantly improved my golf swing. In 3 lessons, I've been able to re-invent my golf swing and shape/add new shots into my game that would not have been possible without his knowledge and coaching. Training with Jim was great, he immediately identified my issues and got right to fixing them. Jim has a great way of explaining issues in the swing and how the body should work to achieve a great shot, as well as explaining clearly how to fix swing faults. Jim has tons of patience and even risked his safety standing in front of me and asking to make a shot and I almost hit him; but he didn’t stop my lesson and kept encouraging me to do better. Just took a golf lesson with Jim, he immediately spotted what was off with my swing and gave me simple fixes that made a huge difference right away. Jim has an easygoing way of teaching that makes everything click without feeling overwhelming, and he sends you a before and after video of your swing so you can actually see the improvement and keep practicing the right moves at home.
