Dr. Gu helped me tremendously with my diagnosis of Cervical Spinal Stenosis. After my first session I had significantly less pain. I look forward to my next sessions and recommend her highly. This was my first experience with acupuncture and would encourage others to try it to help with alleviating pain
I was referred to JG Acupuncture by the VA to aid in mitigating pain in my lower back and legs. I was skeptical at first, as I had some dry needling done while going through physical therapy. Dr. Gu did a great job of educating me on the differences. Further she explained each step of the process. There was no to very minimal pain with the procedures, and I was so at ease I actually fell asleep during the sessions, afterwards I had a sense of uphoria and was virtually pain free. I highly recommend JG Acupuncture Clinic.
After decades of neck pain, I never really thought much about acupuncture. However, my time here has certainly helped.
I had total back pain that affected my life for years on a scale of a constant 4-5 out of 10 everyday and just managed to somehow live with the pain. X-rays showed arthritis and disc problems but modern medicine and therapy would only relieve it temporarily, never actually getting rid of the pain. Dr. Joyce Gu has been extremely helpful and accommodating in my first few visits. I came in looking to address shoulder and neck stiffness, and I've found the treatments to be very effective at reducing the tightness. She uses a combination of needles, electric stimulation, cupping, and a massage gun. I feel incredibly calm and relaxed following this treatment.
