We have used John on a couple of occasions - the most recent when our fixed rate expired. John contacted us 6 months before the expiry date and reviewed our lender's rates against the whole of the mortgage market. In addition, he also factored in our preference to reduce the mortgage balance and to find the most cost-effective way of achieving this (without incurring any penalties).
