Gross store. Management is rude. They say don’t buy anything from the deli cause it’s old and expired. Store layout sucks. Won’t shop there again.
I have been going to this Jewel location since 1983 and here it is 2018 and I still go to this Jewel...
I have been shopping at this store since the day the store opened. This neighborhood has undergone a drastic change in all this time. The people who designated this as a dangerous store do not know squat! If you are so afraid of this area go move to Edgebrook. The associates are really great, especially Than and Patricia. To all the nay sayers, if you want high prices and a baby grand piano go shop at Mariano's.
Shop at the bakery they are great ! I recently had a cake made in the Round Lake, IL bakery for my daughter and her dad because they have the same birthday. I wanted to create a cake for the 2 of them and the employees helped me, gave me advice, assisted me with suggestions, ect. When I opened the box I was shocked ! Whomever that made it did a FABULOUS JOB ! I was so happy with how the design came out, the decoration used, the colors, and the cake tasted great. Friendly staff! Very fresh produce! My favorite store to shop with a very good variety of products! Melrose Park Jewel serves our community very well!
I was so impressed by this Jewel! They had everything I needed in STOCK and on the RIGHT shelves. I do not ever have that experience in other Jewel stores. Thank you sooooo much!
In the last couple of weeks I have been to Jewel multiple times. I go at different times and have too many items for the quick lane but not a huge amount either. Every time I have gone they have had only two lanes open. The lanes have at least 4 if not more people in line. I don't know but I guess they are trying to save money. If this continues I will find another store.
