I should have posted this review over 1.2 years ago. Edit: as my previous review was not clear. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this bike shop. I took my bicycle in for some work, which included having it stripped down and sent to a Carbon Steed a Carbon repairer/spray painter for repairs. Unfortunately, the spray painter did a poor job, and when I brought the issue up with the shop owner, I was treated terribly. Puncture on the way home and arrived there as they were closing, but were still more than happy to help me out and change it for me! Life savers!
I walked in for a quick fix and to buy a couple items after flying my bike internationally. The tubeless valve on my front wheel had snapped and I went here because it was near my hotel. The young guy at the counter was extremely helpful, answered all my questions, filled the water bottle I bought, good dude. All the other people couldn't be bothered with even looking at me, extremely uninterested and lame. One dude seemed put off that he had to help me buy something off his shelf. I can't talk highly enough about jet cycles. My first experience was around 10 years ago when I couldn't ride due to comfort issues /injury on the bike. The bike fit I had at Jet Cycles solved the issues instantly and set me up for many 1000's of km of comfortable riding. The cycling coaching in this session also changed my riding and I still think about and actively apply some of those tips. Since then I have regularly had my bike serviced there. We bought 2 Teros from Jet 2 years ago, had them serviced a year ago and took them in for servicing today. I rode mine in and it was fine on the way into Clarence St, but riding home after the service a horrible crunching from the front crank developed when pedalling hard uphill. The crunching was so alarming I had to walk it home and being pretty pissed off that the bike was in worse shape after the $300 service than before it, I invited them to come over to Mosman (20 minutes) and fix whatever they had done to my bike.
