We purchased our swivel chairs in January of 2022. They were delivered in December of 2023. They creak everytime you sit in them. This has been going on since day 1. Jessica Charles tried to replace the swivel mechanism, but it still did not repair it. JC has had someone out to look at them 6 - 7 times. Now JC wants us to ship the chairs back to them at our expense 14 months later. They want us to package them up and send them back. At this point, we are just worn out. I am a designer and purchased two chairs from Jessica Charles . I was required to pay in full. I selected one of their fabrics. Six weeks into my order I was notified they didn't have the fabric . I had called to get the delivery as they should have been finished in 6-8 weeks. I sent in my own fabric and it has been over 15 weeks ( their normal delivery is 6-8 weeks). Purchased two Jessica Charles swivel chairs in September with an upper grade of upholstered fabric, and within 5 months the fabric began to fray on the one chair that was used most often. The store from which we made the purchase sent the cushion to them at their request. They claimed the fabric had been sprayed with some sort of protector. Not the case.
