I was extremely disappointed with this experience. Ms. Barkley was unable to provide fabric samples and expected me to choose a fabric from photographs and tiny swatches. Even after I offered to meet her in La at a fabric warehouse she did not follow up and tried to persuade me to use one of the fabrics that I did not like. When I repeated my offer to shop for my own fabric she pointed out that I was being too controlling. Jessica Barkley is an incredible atelier and an excellent Fashion Designer. She is so talented and elegant, that she will make your vision a reality. My daughter just got married at Lido Isle, and Jessica Barkley designed and made all the bridesmaid dresses, and my formal gowns for both the Wedding and the Rehearsal Dinner. It was an honor and a pleasure to wear a dress made by Jessica Barkley to my daughter’s wedding.
