i spent 3 months there and they did not tell me about T.B.I, nothing about my vision, and never told me of damage to my spleen. never communicated. toke me of blood thinners to soon. now i have blood clots regularly. thanks to them i have NO faith in the medical community.
I saw Lori Hollingsworth-Burd, a PA in the orthopedic dept for hip pain. She saw me once had me get a cortisone injection. I had a reaction to the cortisone injection where both knees and my right calf swelled and I could not walk. I messaged her twice after 3 weeks she had me get an ultrasound for a possible blood clot. After the results came back that there was not a blood clot, she never called with results. I messaged her again for results. Her nursed messaged back and said I was to see my primary doctor.
My mom spent over a week here. One mis-step after another. Punctured lung, surgery...and they missed a duodenal ulcer, which ruptured. It ended up killing her. They did not contact her power of attorney for healthcare. She was an active, healthy 92 year old and left in a bodybag. Her nurse Amy was very sweet. They don't answer the phone, it just rings and rings, yet when you get there they are all sitting at the desk....yes the phone is ringing. I wouldn't bring my pets here, let alone anybody you love. Horrible.
I would like to acknowledge two of your employees that went above and beyond their job description to help me even though it took a good while they even continued to help even after I was in my appointment and while I am sending this message they are still trying to help
This place is the perfect example of how NOT to run a ER!!! I went there to be seen and was told the wait is 7-9 hours. They take you back to get your vitals every 3 hours and let you sit in this DIRTY AND STINKY WAITING ROOM! The staff acts like they don’t have a care in the world,they just there to get a paycheck. They have people sleeping in the chairs like it’s a bed and nobody is cleaning this place at all!! The lady came out and swept for 2 minutes and left,trash was everywhere!!! I really struggle with their visitor policy. I was in a room with my granddaughter when my daughter (her mother) sat downstairs for 45 minutes because they would not let her up as she was not on some list. We didn't know about the list - so dumb. You can only have 6 people on the list for your entire visit, so if your number 7, you cannot see your relative even if no one else is there visiting. Same thing happened upon discharge, she is disabled and I needed help to get her in her wheelchair but they would not allow her up... read more
If you are looking for Negligence and Malpractice, you found the place! If you want care, competence, or an ER visit that makes you better than when you entered? Go elsewhere! Seriously! Unless you are looking for opiates and a bed for a few hours this ER is NOT for you. If you want to leave looking like a junky with 15 jabs to get the IV in and then still miss the vein while using ultrasound! This place is right up your alley! I had an initial evaluation at Forme in Wauwatosa. I was assured there was no charge for that evaluation. I am a veteran of these vein procedures and every place I have ever been in18 years never charged me for an initial evaluation. I told them all I wanted was spider vein treatment. I have had everything else you can remove, removed long ago. So, I thought Froedtert, Ok I will try them. I am sorry I did, because they then billed my insurance.
