This hospital and the staff are so awesome. I was in this hospital over three weeks. Due to an unexpected infection. They took excellent care of me, the nurses and teams were so kind and understanding, being that I had to stay longer than we all expected. I was there on my birthday, and they put a few door decorations to give me some birthday cheer. Very disappointed based on reputation and expectations. Over 36 hours ago my brother was transferred to Jennie Sealy from a smaller UTMB hospital for an MRI. Still waiting for the MRI. The frustrating part is they were going to do it after arrival, then they were going to do it yesterday by 5pm... Still waiting. MRI availability and patient communication seems to be an issue.
