This was my first time floating, and it will not be the last! The owner was really nice and informative. And the experience! You shower first to make sure you're nice and clean for the pod. Then you climb in, and turn the pod light off, although I imagine you can keep it on if you're not a fan of the dark. And then you float. I didn't actually float. When I relaxed, my bum settled at the bottom. This made the entire experience boring and pointless. Could have soaked in a bath at home.
I had never had a float experience before and was really looking forward to trying something new and outside of my norm. I was not disappointed. The business is bright and welcoming when you first arrive, it has a calm energy and was exceptionally clean. I expressed it was my first time doing such a thing and the owner walked me through the process of how to get ready and what to expect.
