My mom was in short term rehab for 2 and half weeks.. This was as a family first time using a rehab facility. Everything was great. They got my mom up and moving for her hip fracture right away. PT and OT were awesome...The staff did a great job
Beyond horrible!!
My sister was at Brudnick for 3 months. Definitely felt we were the wrong religion and did not feel included/accepted. The Kosher food was VERY limited. My sister felt her social worker spent more time on her phone than helping clients. When she repeatedly asked for help with external PT she was no help and had a nasty attitude. I later learned this social worker has had many complaints but always denies all allegations. Sit in her office and see for yourselves!!! So done....stay away!!! My father was admitted to the Brudnick Rehabilitation Center for IV antibiotics to treat bacteremia. I was very disappointed in the nursing staff at the facility. My father had been on oxygen for several years for advanced lung disease. He arrived with no paperwork from the hospital, no oxygen, and no medication instructions. I spoke to the nursing staff the next day, and told them about the oxygen. I was told he did not need it as his oxygen levels were good, and that it may damage his lungs. I personally chose this rehab to go to after being in the hospital for 10 days.. my mom was there 10 years prior and I was impressed by seeing all of the work being done by the staff.. PT and OT in particular.. so that is why I chose to go there.. I was there for 11 days.. all of the staff that I interacted with were wonderful.. PT and OT worked closely with me and taught me so much.. I carried that with me when I went home and still use what I was taught.. very grateful.. -Patty Di Rico
