Had my Radical Robotic Prostatectomy Surgery 11/19/2021at UT Southwestern on Tollway in Frisco. Went totally uneventful and felt great post surgery, to the point that I begged the doctor not to let me stay that first night in the hospital. He said, if I could get out of bed and walk unassisted he would. I did it and became the first outpatient of his for this surgery. On the follow up he told me I started a trend, since another patient hearing of it wanted to do the same. Amazing doctor and staff.

My father had a robotic prostatectomy with Dr. Gahan in September and he was knowledgeable, pleasant, and the surgery was successful. He offers telehealth visits, so that was a plus due to my father living 7 hours north in the panhandle of Texas. The Clements hospital where the procedure was performed was phenomenal from the nurses, pre and post op care, to the facilities. On 2/23/2023 I had Prostate surgery at the William P. Clements Hospital where Dr. Jeffrey Gahan practices. Dr. Jeffrey Gahan conducted surgery at 7:00 A.M. and was finished in three hours. I was in my recovery room by 12:30 P.M. where I experienced no pain and throughout the night was never in pain. I was walking the hospital floor at 10:30 p.m. and again the next morning at 9: 00 a.m.. By 12:00 p.m. I was being checked out of my hospital room to go home.
