I would be shocked if there is a worse DMV in all of the Western Hemisphere. The staff is simply terrible. Save yourself some giant headaches and drive to Gardendale or Center Point.
Was easily the most stressful part of moving. The first visit i had the lady was well informed and had a plate on my spouses vehicle within an hour. My experience was the opposite w a gentleman there. He was rude. Scoffed when i asked for information. And i would never hire him. I have limited time 9-5 to drive up there 3 times and wait for an hour to be turned away with th documentation. THEY asked for. Try to avoid this place.
Every time I have ever been to this location they have been extremely courteous and efficent!! There are multiple windows inside, and they usually have a lot of them open too! From the time you step inside the door they will direct you to which line you need to go and what windows to be listening for when they call, "next". Thank you all for being friendly, courteous and efficient compared other area locations in and around the Jefferson/Shelby area!!! Keep up the great work!!!
