The staff is very friendly and patient. My only annoyance is at the overall system for tax collection (no one explains this to new residents like they do in VA) and the fact that their seems to be a lot of issues with their phone system.
Extremely helpful staff and so patient. With new residents they are so calm. Even the security officers were so kind enough to guide me to their offices to help me with my paperwork. The same goes even for any telephonic conversations I had prior. I wish them a lot of success and lucky to be a part of the county.
I want to start by saying the staff in the local office are extremely friendly and this is in no way a knock on them. The entire process of paying personal property tax on a car is very confusing and never explained to new residents. If they would mail it out like Virginia does, it would be way less confusing how much is owed and when. I'm stuck with a $59 dollar late fee because of how poorly the program is ran. Very frustrating!
