Extremely helpful staff and so patient. With new residents they are so calm. Even the security officers were so kind enough to guide me to their offices to help me with my paperwork. The same goes even for any telephonic conversations I had prior. I wish them a lot of success and lucky to be a part of the county.
I want to start by saying the staff in the local office are extremely friendly and this is in no way a knock on them. The entire process of paying personal property tax on a car is very confusing and never explained to new residents. If they would mail it out like Virginia does, it would be way less confusing how much is owed and when. I'm stuck with a $59 dollar late fee because of how poorly the program is ran. Very frustrating!
I'm fairly new to the area (3 years) and came from an area where getting anything "official" done was next to impossible. It is so amazing to be in a place where the people who work in a government building are so helpful and help you get things done quickly!
