Nice old gentleman but I think this CPA is past due for retirement. Filed an extension without letting me know. When I finally got a copy of my tax returns they were wrong. Had to file an amendment. Got the amended return with no estimated payment information. Called the office and got it. Paid as soon I got the information and instructions. Here we are a year later and I have an IRS notice with penalties for late payments.
Cheap, quick, and friendly. Unfortunately the first two items explain why I received a notice that I owed $1700 to the state after he improperly filed NC state return, leaving out child deductions and total combined incomes and failing to fill out any of the NY state return (non-resident military). As a result since we have since moved I am receiving notices now that my check will be garnished. Spend the money and file through someone who has a bit more attention to detail.
