Recently finished two workshops with Jeff Cable. Both were excellent. Great locations, teaching, affability of the guides and other clients and just fun. And got great images! Will do more.
Jeff’s passion, knowledge, and willingness to teach created an environment where everyone could improve, regardless of skill level. I returned home not only with photographs I am proud of, but also with a renewed excitement for photography and a deeper appreciation for wildlife. This experience may very well have set me on a new photographic path. I can’t wait to see what Tanzania 2027 will bring.
We took the Jeff Cable Costa Rica photography tour in June 2026, and it delivered exactly what the website promised: a serious wildlife photography course wrapped inside a genuinely fun vacation. We went on a wildlife photography tour of Costa Rica with Jeff for 8 days and it was an exceptional experience with great people. Jeff pays a lot of attention to detail, with seamless local arrangements from airport pick-up to meals. The local guides, Eduardo, Jose, and Christina, are knowledgeable and fun. We saw monkeys, sloths, countless birds including toucans and macaw, spent a day on the water where we saw dolphins and whales, pelicans, brown boobies and sea turtles. I do a bunch of international photo workshops every year, and Jeff is hands down my favorite leader. The Costa Rica trip was awesome, way more than just a photo tour. I actually learned a ton about photography. Super laid back, friendly, and always happy to help. Can't recommend him enough.
