Saturday, May 2 around 11:55 AM I enter I 95 S. curve in Pawtucket and accelerate the right lane to about a 10 Car Opening Way in front of this tractor trailer in my Mustang that I drive once a week. Union position job, minus all the perks of LOCAL 863 defending union drivers on Wakefern "shoprite" dedicated account.. Only thing thats respectful is union pay, FORCED Dispatch is a thing, they say you do not unload produce, in your contract, you do unload produce, everything is completely one sided against you on shoprite account, stores complaints about receiver get overlooked, but anything you do is amplified, an molded like you are problematic... The only reason why I gave one star is because I had to. One star is too much for this company. Jed Trucking are contractors for Shoprite and it's a union shop. I was terminated because I refused to violate my 14 hour rule and it was only my 2nd week on the job. The drivers here are very friendly for the most part but management doesn't have a clue on how to manage. The union rep could care less what the company does to drivers because his job is secured and he's paid for. Drivers please stay away from this company because t... read more
