My family and I have used Jeanne Vander Ploeg photography several times over the years, most recently for maternity and then newborn (!) photos. She made me feel completely at ease and had wonderful ideas for composition and styling for the shoots. The newborn photos were especially important for me to have done well and Jeanne did not disappoint! My husband and I now have beautiful photos of our son in his first few days that we will treasure for a lifetime. I could not recommend Jeanne and her work more.

We've used Jeanne to take our annual family photo for a few years now and she always nails it. Her scheduling is also very flexible, which helps when you're trying to get your whole family to sit still in one place! Jeanne also did some great post-production work to make a few of our less-than-perfect elements (stain on my shirt) disappear. Will definitely continue to use Jeanne.

I have used Jeanne two times. The first time was for family photos for our xmas card. My kids were ages 3 and 5, so needless to say it was challenging at best to have them sit still. The pictures ( and not just one!) came out amazing. She fully connected and engaged with my kids and the pictures appeared candid/natural but also worthy of sending out to all of our friends and family. I also used Jeannie for headshots for work. Jeanne took some fabulous photos of our family - my wife, me and our two charming dogs. She came to our home for the shoot and was very thoughtful about placement, light, and of course the challenge of getting pets to cooperate. Jeanne has a true eye for portraiture, I would highly recommend her services for your family - furry or otherwise! Don't miss her website.
