BE AWARE that the Optical only except CERTAIN Eye med policies. I was NOT informed that until I picked up my daughters glasses (1 pair) which was $500 and was informed that I would need to contact Eye Med or my husband's work to get the credit since we were "out of network". Please make sure you ask and understand which policies they take since JEA only except certain policies from certain companies. Will NOT be going back.
I’m writing this review in observation of JEA’s optical center supplying glasses and contacts. I’m not certain if it’s the times we’re now in, but I have been here 5 minutes and not even a greeting. I understand being previously occupied, however greeting fellow patients should be automatic . This is unacceptable and also a bad look. Moral of the story: Greet those that service you no matter who it may be.
The staff is super nice. The visit was very efficient. I was literally in and out in less than an hour. Dr. Whittington isn’t real talkative but he does his thing and I’m happy.
I’m very impressed with Dr. Phil (Phillip Smith) and his staff! I highly recommend this clinic.
