My daughter went to JD Sports in Beachwood, OH to buy a pair of Nike Air Max 90 tennis shoes and they didn’t have her size so she asked if they could send her the size she needed. She confirmed with the Associate several times that the size would be correct. When she received her order, the associate ordered the same size she had tried on in the store. After you purchased shoes for JD Finishline or sport make sure to check the manufacturer date inside the shoe for date that the shoe was manufactured, if not sure call the manufacturer to verify the date. The manufacturer warranty for defect will use this date for 2 years after 45 days of purchase that can’t be returned to store. Most of JD stock items could more than 2 years old; Therefore, you will not be able to return the shoes to JD or manufacturer for manufacturing defects after 45 days and JD won’t honor their mistake... read more
Took our special needs son show shopping last night. His leg braces make stylish shoes difficult to find sometimes. After 5 stores we decided to try JD Sport on the way out. Several pairs he loved instantly. The young man who works there and wears glasses, I wish I got his name, was quick to go get the shoe and help us try them on. After a out 7 pairs of shoes that didn't work he began to patiently make suggestions of what may be wider to fit his brace. After nothing working out we left and came back 3 times. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I drove all the way from Akron to pick up shoes I ordered online using an online payment method (PayPal). Only to arrive there to be told their system is down & their only solution was to ring the shoes up & charge me again. Supervisor or whoever didn’t even have the decency to come out & speak with me to find another solution but instead relaying messages to a bunch of kid employees.
