Walked into J.Crew and got greeted right away, but before we even looked around, the associate told us all the final sale and clearance stuff was in the back, completely unprompted. Definitely came across as presumptuous rather than helpful. We hadn’t asked about discounts or said anything about budget. It just felt like an odd thing to lead with instead of asking what we were looking for. Not the welcoming first impression I’d expect walking into a store.

Don’t shop here they are very discriminatory against black people. I came into the store with my daughter Sunday morning and was not greeted upon entry as the security guard and staff member were talking. There was one other customer in the store who was white. She was at the very back of the store and no one was watching her however once she left the security guard started following me and my daughter and watching us. The employee proceeded to start watching us as well before approaching and asking us if we needed any help.... read more

A great store to shop, friendly atmosphere and staff are always checking on you if you needed help. I found a pants I like but my size isn’t available at the store, staff helped me to order it online including a pair of tights that was only available to order online and I received both items in the mail in less than a week.
