We had a wonderful experience with our son’s newborn photoshoot. Ryan, our photographer, was excellent! He listened to the vision I had and specific photos I wanted to capture and gave great suggestions. He made us feel comfortable and our photos came out amazing.

Photographer was nice, but did not know how to interact with the child and did nothing to get her to smile.

Ryan was professional and transparent. My son and I were there on Fathers Day and our apt was after a 2 week old baby shoot. That took some extra time but I understand a newborn rules the room! I would just suggest book the first appointment of the day if you want in and out. I give Ryan credit for being so patient and being flexible. Our photos came out very nice and will be treasured forever.

Very disappointed with my newborn photo experience at JCPenney Portraits in Salem. The photographer gave little to no direction, struggled throughout, and did not know how to properly swaddle or pose the baby. Many of the photos were unusable, including some where our eyes were closed, even in images I paid for. I paid $169.99 for this session.
