Had a great experience at JCPenney Portraits! Our photographer Chris was awesome, super nice, very professional, and really accommodating. He helped us with poses and made the whole session easy and comfortable. Everything went smoothly and we’re really happy with how it all turned out. Definitely recommend!

We booked an appointment because we have an infant and need to make sure she's fed and had a nap before the appointment. We show up and they tell us it is going to be about a 40 minute wait! For how over priced they are for a 15 minute session they need to not overbook to where it will cause a 40 minute delay... ridiculous 😒

As you can see from my past reviews, I’ve always had positive experiences with the JCPenney photo studio — but unfortunately, this visit was incredibly disappointing. The manager on duty (I believe her name was Hazel) made passive-aggressive comments toward the photographer and seemed to ignore him when he clearly needed support. It was uncomfortable to watch, and the lack of teamwork really showed in the final photos. My husband and I came in for maternity pictures, we wanted to go for a hilariously awkward Masterminds vibe and Hazel, our photographer, NAILED it! Hazel knew exactly what we wanted and even added on to it with her own ideas and the pictures were seriously perfect!! We had such a good time, we laughed a ton, and Hazel was incredibly helpful and fun. Will definitely be going to her for future photos.
