We took pictures in the Willowbrook mall in Wayne NJ location and had a great experience. Kalisha, our photographer (and also a regional manager), was amazing and really connected with my son and made him smile. She did not loose patience even though our little baby was crying the ENTIRE session! Despite that, she still managed to get us some nice shots! She's really the best and we'll definitely be back!

Very pleased with our overall experience! It was a busy Sunday for them but we were in no hurry. Our photographer Latoya did a beautiful job with our photos and made the experience fun with our 2 week old son. She was able to calm his tears and got beautiful shots. The pricing was very fair for the photography market. They have a lot of options to choose for purchase packaging. We made a membership with them so we will definitely be back for our milestone pics.

The employees were very nice and courteous but unfortunately, the price was not worth the product. The photographer, although nice, simply didn’t know how to take proper professional pictures, and my guess is that she is probably just an ordinary JC Penny employee and not a photographer. Nothing wrong with that of course, but when you are paying $150+, the photos should be really good. Seems from other comments that there might be other employees who are good at taking pictures, so I would at the very least make sure to see ... read more

First and foremost, the photographer we got was unexperienced and not very helpful with picture taking. We asked for nice pictures and awkward ones. Certain poses were done and picture had cut-off which made it pointless to even pose. Heads were chopped off the picture in other words. Another issue we had we were given the choice to pay extra for 2 day shipping which we did and packages now say it’s gonna be delivered December 30 and dates in January. I visited JCPenney Portrait Studios in Wayne, NJ and dealt with manager Kalisha, after I received my images and found them to be blurry. She was very accommodating and so helpful, which was appreciated, considering I was undertaking the task of having my 1 year old toddler take her first photos with Santa (who was also fantastic!). Kalisha was understanding and wanted me to truly be happy with my results, and I am grateful for her help and kindness.
