For starters, the photographer, Kwacha, was wonderful! He was very patient, helpful, and really wanted to do everything he could to help. It's so appreciated, and I encourage anyone to request this gentleman when having portraits made here. I found a reasonable deal online, and they rotate different offers through the year. I will say, 1 star off for the studio in general. Backgrounds aren't very exciting and props are kinda sad. (Bring your own props, they actually encourage it for your own satisfaction)
Such a great amazing experience for me and my little family. They had a limited space background that was perfect and came out great. They recommended over the phone when confirming appointment and before paying that it's cheaper to do the membership for $39.99 that last 2 years giving you free sessions for everyone in your party vs 15.99 per person..
I had a very disappointing experience with the JCPenney Portraits at the Mall of Georgia location. I had a Family/Group of 2–7 session with Camera on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 3:30 PM, and I never received my photos. When I called the studio for help, I was only given a customer service phone number. I reached out to customer service multiple times and never received a response. Honestly, I’ve been so impressed with the team at this location! A special shoutout to Erin, who went above and beyond to make my toddler smile, made sure my clothes were looking good, and was just an overall pleasure to work with. We’ve come here a handful of times and worked with other photographers as well—each one has been solid.
