Left extremely disappointed an hour after my set appointment with nothing Front desk was absolutely rude from the moment we walked in . We showed up early and prepared as instructed, unfortunately the front desk was rude and unprofessional immediately upon arrival. They had music playing so loud you couldnt hear anything . Gonzalo was amazing. He helped guide me with poses, paid attention to the smallest details, and genuinely cared about the quality of each photo rather than just taking pictures. His professionalism and attention made the entire session enjoyable, and the photos turned out wonderful.
We came to JCPenney for a holiday photoshoot with my daughter and her cousin. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The studio room was overwhelmingly hot, which already made it uncomfortable for the kids—especially my 10-month-old baby. The photographer we had on 12/13/25 was not helpful at all when it came to guiding poses or interacting with the children. Gonzolo couldn't recommend him enough, have used him for 2 years!
The pros: The session started promptly and the employee took her time with us going over pricing and what our Groupon covered. The cons: The studio is unbearably hot. They have a mini fan but with the lights and lack of airflow I felt stuffy and sweaty. Not appealing for a holiday photoshoot with a baby. The photographer didn’t seem to have experience shooting with an infant. She had a squeaky dog toy on her camera but that was as far she went to get our baby’s attention.
