We have been coming here for years and this is by far the worst year ever! Slow is an understatement. Christmas season is not new and to only have a staff of 3 on a Saturday is insane. Our appointment was for 1:15 and at 4pm we were STILL WAITING to choose photos! NO EXCUSE FOR OVERBOOKING! Photos were taken at 3:15 and the waiting area is packed with no seats or stools. Madeline does a fantastic job on family photos and is great with our baby! They do get busy on weekends close to the holidays but allow you to walk around the mall if they're running behind and communicate well. We have had a great experience both times we went here!

This year 2025 was the worst. They overbook all the time. A lady before us took her pictures with her 2 kids at 145pm and the 323pm and she’s still waiting to review and choose her pictures. Our appointment was 230pm and 323pm we are finally taking pictures. God only knows when we will be reviewing our pictures. JC Penny Portraits, please, please stop overbooking.

Madeline was so sweet and our pictures turned out amazing! I could really tell that she knew what she was doing and it was such a fun experience. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking to get cute and fun pictures with friends family or coworkers.
