Terrible company, the reviews really show the service. The owner is clueless. Talked to him multiple times and he cant even remember a simple conversation. Do not do business with them.
We’ve used Carl and his Team for years, might be approaching decades! He helped my Father immensely, through complex investment decisions, Trusts and rental properties. I worked with Carl for about 15 years for both my personal and business taxes, so I got to know him fairly well over that time. He has a strong understanding of tax matters and was always thorough in his work. He's a great option for anyone looking for an experienced accountant for personal and/or business taxes. I recently moved out of state and transitioned to a local accountant, but I appreciate the help he provided over the years and wish him the best going forward.
STAY AWAY! I cannot stress this enough. Carl allowed me to park a bus behind his business for $150/month. He decided to raise the price to $200/month without warning the day I was leaving town for an extended period of time (which he knew about). It took him 2 weeks to send me a new lease reflecting the new amount and within 2 hours of sending it, he was already demanding payment and threatening me with an arbitrary late fee. I regret to say that my experience with JCP Financial has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their incompetence and lack of professionalism have left me utterly frustrated and dissatisfied. First and foremost, their communication is abysmal. Despite numerous attempts to resolve an alleged outstanding balance, they continued to harass me with relentless demands for payment, even after providing evidence of payment that clearly settled the matter.
