I really hate leaving a 1-star review for a small business, but unfortunately I feel like I have no other choice. We requested to cancel our services in January after Aspen, the accountant we had only worked with for about a month, left the company. I love JB accounting. I've been working with these guys for a while. However, in the last months, I've been trying to reach out to Ethan and Spencer through phone calls and emails, and none of them even answer me. I feel left in the dark. Does anyone know if they still work here? I’m seriously considering leaving .COMMUNICATION NEEDS TO IMPROVE. Their response time is really poor.
No one wants to deal with the IRS, but if you have to, these are the people you want on your side. Excellent service during a terrible time!
Jake used to be such a great guy to work with. I used him for years. I think he’s in over his head now and dropped so many balls with my taxes this year. Worst of all, he never finished my deceased mom’s taxes but didn’t tell me he didn’t do them. So many instances of me needing to make multiple voicemails and texts and being ghosted by him.
Jesse is my go to guy for taxes! Flawless process and he made it so easy. Couldn’t recommend him enough!
