Lee Beverley at JB always does excellent work in preparing our returns; both business and personal. His expertise has saved us thousands over the years, and on top of that he is always very patient and flexible when it comes to filing. We appreciate it very much. We’ve also used JB Accounting to handle our payroll and they’ve done an exceptional job. Highly recommend using JB Accounting and Tax for all tax and payroll needs
Been using Jake for a decade now. Jake is the most professional and polite tax/accounting specialist I’ve ever met. Jake is ethical, intelligent and makes sure you’re educated. Jake cares personally about his clients as well as their well being. If you want to be taken care of and have the peace of mind that things are done correctly, come see Jake or any of the guys in this firm.
My experience with Jake lasted around 7 years and he is the absolute worst. When you actually need something from him or his office you get met with a receptionist who knows nothing and is told to keep you from taking up Jake’s time. I have had 3 separate appointments with Jake in the past 12 months and ALL 3 were either moved due to Jake being “sick” or he was an hour late. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE GUYS!!! Not worth your time or money. They were SO slow to respond to our questions and concerns and overall, unprofessional! After a year of working with JB accounting, my husband called to cancel our account with them. Either they didn’t listen or forgot, and they didn’t cancel the account. We got charged for their services even though we weren’t using them anymore and they said they would send us to collections if we didn’t pay. They are awful at communicating with their clients. When there was paperwork in question instead of calling to ask me about it and clarify they assumed they knew what was best and did not talk to me first. Def. not what I would want from a company handling money.. Clear communication is essential and good customer service practices would go a long way.
