My husband and I stopped at Jay's Pedal Center to see if they could air up the tires on his bike. The gentleman at the counter said to bring it on in. The valve on the tires was unusual to us but not to the service tech. A few short minutes and we were on our way!! We were given an adapter for the tire that didn't have one and information on how to use the adapter properly. Valuable information! Kindness from this helpful man and no charge!! I will definitely go back to Jay's Pedal Center for bike questions or needs!!
They saved my MinneIoWisco bikepacking trip. Starting in Sparta, 9 miles in I had chain suck that couldn't be repaired on the road. A good Samaritan drove me back to my car and suggested the 30 minute drive to Jay's in Reedsburg. Made the trip only to have it the mechanic's day off. Realizing my predicament, she called the mechanic and he was in within 30 minutes. Fixed the chain issue to discover a bent hanger. Great experience!
Went into this place last week and I was surprised how knowledgeable they were. Most stores like this have inexperienced sales staff but Adam knows his bikes inside and out. He was so helpful and made us feel comfortable enough to purchase two ebikes. Highly recommend this store to anyone shopping for a kids bike, adult, or e-bike. Great selection too.
Couldn't be happier. Decided to upgrade my 30 year old bicycle and after researching options with big box stores, sporting goods stores and other bike shops, ended up purchasing a new Specialized Crossroads from Jay's. Adam was patient with me, exploring the options, finding the right fit, and not only letting me ride different sizes , but encouraging me to ride them multiple times.
