Disappointing Experience — Not What We Expected Unfortunately, our experience with Jay and his team was extremely disappointing. We invested well into the double digits for our wedding photography and videography because we wanted amazing photos and a wedding film we could cherish forever. My best friend hired him for her wedding photos and video. She never received the video. He’s using her photo all over his website (because she’s gorgeous) but won’t respond to her calls or emails about the video he never made. So unprofessional.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. sadly Jay took what would have been a great experience and turned it into a gross regret. On our actual wedding day, we loved Jay. He was great to work with. Similar to the previous 1 star review, he is refusing to respond to numerous emails, texts and phone calls. What's more insane, my wedding photo is the first one in his gallery!!! This is an edit from a 5 star to a 1 star review. Upon Jay Grubb’s request, I left my original review a few days after our wedding day and after only seeing our wedding photo sneak peeks. Unfortunately, my husband and I have been suffering for months trying to get a hold of Jay Grubb regarding issues with our wedding day video. I would consider my husband and I to be very laid back and understanding people but we have had no choice but to warn others from working with Jay due to his lack of professionalism. Avoid at all costs…unprofessional, doesn't communicate, and doesn't deliver If you look at Jay’s recent 1 star reviews you will notice a pattern. It seems that he has made a habit of not delivering on the services his client’s purchase and is consistently ghosting them. We are currently undergoing this same experience with Jay. After Jay delivered the photos and the raw video footage from our wedding, he told us we should expect 6-8 months for the wedding movie to be completed.
