This is an edit from a 5 star to a 1 star review. Upon Jay Grubb’s request, I left my original review a few days after our wedding day and after only seeing our wedding photo sneak peeks. Unfortunately, my husband and I have been suffering for months trying to get a hold of Jay Grubb regarding issues with our wedding day video. I would consider my husband and I to be very laid back and understanding people but we have had no choice but to warn others from working with Jay due to his lack of professionalism. Avoid at all costs…unprofessional, doesn't communicate, and doesn't deliver If you look at Jay’s recent 1 star reviews you will notice a pattern. It seems that he has made a habit of not delivering on the services his client’s purchase and is consistently ghosting them. We are currently undergoing this same experience with Jay. From our very first consultation, I knew we clicked with Jay. He didn’t just photograph our wedding day, he captured us — every intimate moment, every raucous celebration, and all of our personalities. It seemed he was part photographer, part hype man, and part guest in the best way possible. He handed me my drink, encouraged the ridiculousness, and kept the energy up all night long. Jay and his videographer, Connor, were awesome to work with on our wedding day, which was March 14th, 2026. We have received our "sneak peek" photos from Jay, as well as the raw video footage that Connor captured. Everything is so beautiful so far, and I can't wait to see the rest! We also had a photo booth included in our package, and it was an absolute hit at our reception!
