Word of advise.... Do NOT let your young adult 'children' work at this place. Many years of hard work and dedication can go down the toilet bowl with one simple mistake. A simple mistake, mind you that had ZERO training to cover such a scenario. Staff leadership is a joke. And on top of that, their business skills limited since they are now down at least $500 per month in revenue. Look out for your youngsters. There are better places for them to get a start in life.
This has been our wine and liquor store place since it opened in '97, and it was always 5 stars with the previous owner and friendly helpful employees and the great discount pricing. However, it was sold a couple of years ago, and there are now new pricing rules on the wines. The 10% discount only applies to prices that end in .99, so they have simply changed many prices to now end in .97 or .98. I paid significantly more than usual on my last visit there. Not feeling the customer loyalty anymore.
Great Staff, Service, and Selection – dcarpent: You sound like a bitter ex-employee?? This place is awesome and I have been going there for years. I know Ron and Jeff in the wine department and they an upgrade in staff over what use to be there. Shaun is great with beer help, and Hector really knows his tequila! Don't use this website to mislead people from this place. It is the best wine and liquor store in Georgia, and trust me I have seen alot and they are in a class by themselves. Now that is a true review.
Good selection is all – Great selection but the people that work there are way pushy to help. On several different occasions I have heard crazy yelling and cursing in the back and upstairs. Also the little short guy Bruce (owner I believe) is very rude and unprofessional. They used to have a much better staff it seems. This place has really gone down since I recently moved back to Georgia.
Best store in the area by far!! They have great help, great prices, and the selection is amazing. I was looking for 10 different beers and wine, and that everyone of them. That never happens. The only place to shop if you live up the 400 corridor.
