I visited for the Westminster Dog Show and could not have been more impressed! The entry lines were managed efficiently, and the facility itself was spotless—clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. Staff throughout the venue were friendly, professional, and eager to help. This is my 3 or 4th time at the Javits center! Great place to have multiple conventions at the same time in the heart of New York City! Walking distance from Times Square and from the Empire State Building! I walked the distances myself several time this week, so it is accurate! Highly recommend! Bir Apple is a cool place to visit any time of year!
Great event space, been to many conventions, car shows and other industry events. Food situation is a bit ridiculous costing arm & leg with long lines.
Although I’ve lived in New York City for decades, I only recently went to the Javits Center and while we weren’t in their largest room, we easily sat with close to three thousand people for a special dinner! The Javits Center is an architectural marvel and worth exploring.
Javits is simply it's own thing. I was at comic con and the rooms and display floors were spacious, airy, relatively quiet(the rooms, the display floor was, of course, loud) and pleasant. It's tricky to get the highest and lowest floor by elevators due to the architecture, but not too bad by escalators. Lots of food and fun!
