This is my 3 or 4th time at the Javits center! Great place to have multiple conventions at the same time in the heart of New York City! Walking distance from Times Square and from the Empire State Building! I walked the distances myself several time this week, so it is accurate! Highly recommend! Bir Apple is a cool place to visit any time of year!
Although I’ve lived in New York City for decades, I only recently went to the Javits Center and while we weren’t in their largest room, we easily sat with close to three thousand people for a special dinner! The Javits Center is an architectural marvel and worth exploring.
Javits is simply it's own thing. I was at comic con and the rooms and display floors were spacious, airy, relatively quiet(the rooms, the display floor was, of course, loud) and pleasant. It's tricky to get the highest and lowest floor by elevators due to the architecture, but not too bad by escalators. Lots of food and fun!
I attended the Javits center for Makeup NYC 2024 and 2025. Phenomenal experience! I was even able to make my own luminous face highlighter/glow moisturizer. The center is huge and the options for sitting and working are good. Starbucks is inside for coffee or tea 🍵 or a light snack.
Went for comic con, had to go to will call for tickets but the process was fast and it right at the entrance so no issue. The event was well staged and my son and I enjoyed it. My 2nd time and I will be back next year.
