I attended the Javits center for Makeup NYC 2024 and 2025. Phenomenal experience! I was even able to make my own luminous face highlighter/glow moisturizer. The center is huge and the options for sitting and working are good. Starbucks is inside for coffee or tea 🍵 or a light snack.
Awesome Comic Con event! Definitely a must see. Get there early it get PACKED! lots of vendors, many voice actors. Bring walking shoes lol.
Went for Anime NYC 2025 and it was great! Building is huge and has a lot of open space, but for the event I went for, it seemed pretty crowded in some areas. That’s an event issue, but for the location itself, there isn’t really anything bad to talk about. Many restrooms available, good number of seating/resting areas.
Nothing like visiting for the premier event of New York Comic Con. Unfortunately due to built in design issues traffic flow is always a problem. The new building addition helps consolidate the entire con at Javits.
Attended the annual sports fanatics event at the Jacob Javits Center and had a great time. The venue is huge, so I definitely recommend checking the program ahead of time or you’ll waste a lot of time just trying to find things. It can feel overwhelming if you don’t come prepared, but once you become familiar with the venue, it’s worth it. Tons of cool setups, and we even saw celebrities casually walking around, which was a nice surprise. My son had a blast — definitely recommend for any sports fan.
