Great facilities and staff Jasper High School has large cafeteria with ample space for students to dine in. Each student is provided with a locker for storage. Admninistrators adhere to district rules and enforce them well. Near the carpool lanes and bus lanes, there is lots of space for students to hang out and talk to friends. Decent Education Many of the good teachers were offered positions at the new Plano West Senior High School, so the quality of the educators has deteriorated a little. The student body is pretty diverse. There are a great deal of Asian Americans.
Great school When I went here, the school had just been finished. The building was roomier than Shepton, where I went for 1 year. The academics were good, with some great teachers. Some have since passed on. Honors classes prepare you well for AP courses at the senior high level. I am also partial to green, the school color.
Tough Competition, Music Although there is no conclusive evidence that cheating occurs at Jasper, competition here is cutthroat and many posses organize themselves around academics. Perhaps on a more balanced aspects are the advances in the music program in Jasper that boasts to be one of the best.
