Maple Creek Museum is a hidden gem we stumbled upon on a Tuesday evening while passing through town with our golden retriever. The staff were incredibly welcoming and even pointed us to a shaded spot right outside where we could tie up our dog while we went in to look around. Inside, the old ranching and cowboy artifacts were surprisingly detailed and well-preserved, giving a real sense of the history of this corner of Saskatchewan.
