I scheduled a tour at Jardin Belle Rive in Rockland for my mother, but when I arrived, Ms. Langlois, the Manager, was too busy to see me. Instead of a tour she just asked what services my mother needed. When I mentioned needing simple reminders for meals, she bluntly told me my mother has dementia. She then rudely stated, we don't take anybody with dementia, even mild cases, because then we are stuck with them. When I pointed out that they have residents with dementia living there, she agreed.
