I met Jan when I was just beginning my career and we worked together in a high school. During this time, Jan had a private practice while I was still working on my licensure for counseling. Once I earned my license I was no longer working in the same district as Jan but reached out to her to see if she would allow me to pick her brain about opening a private practice.
