Popped in here because I was hungry and it was close, and I'd been eyeballing the place for a while. I Accidentally ended up showing up a bit before opening and waited, getting in as soon as they had opened. Obviously it was a bit of a wait since they were booting up their systems and getting everything started- but it was well worth the 20 minutes. Unfortunately Memphis Jamaican kitchen was closed today.. that being said I figured I’d give another niche place a try… Wait for MJK to open. Literally not worth it unless you’d like some barely seasoned bones. Dry non mashed pots, and plantains that looks like they were cut and set in an oven plain…. I’ve cooked for over 20yrs and cannot fathom how someone could box this up as “ready”🤣

I had an amazing experience at Jamrack! The food and drinks were delicious, and our waitress DESTINY took great care of us, Make sure you request her at the door! Will definitely be going back!!

I ordered the jerk chicken pasta. I also ordered three beef patties. They never gave me my total over the phone, but that was fine. I went inside and got my food. She ended up calling my food out to me and they said jerk chicken pasta, which was correct, but they gave me chicken patties instead of beef.
