If i could do no stars i would! This place is so inhumane to people. My dad is in this facility and he was left for over an hour sitting in fecal matter because they said his aide went on break. I ran into a nurse who i knew and she had to find someone to help me. Come tomorrow i will be call APS please dont put ur relatives here if you care about them

My stay wasn’t bad at all on Jefferson Unit I actually enjoyed my girls lol. Special thanks to Wanda, Ashleigh, Crystal, Cynthia, Big Mama, Andrea, Diamond, Chi Chi, Angie, Velma, and so many more. I can’t forget the entire therapy team who got me back on my feet. You guys rock take care.

My friend from Church was just in here for 2 weeks. (July 2025). They automatically put her in adult diapers. (It never occurred to them that she never peed. When she went back to the hospital to be reevaluated her bladder was over full and her belly was so distended that she looked pregnant. They did a catheter to drain her bladder and said it was full of old urine). They were giving her Percocet for pain (at the rehab) and it confused her so much that half the time she did not even know where she was. She called me in the ... read more

Not only the does the staff at James River have patience with us (the patients) the love received from them is incredible. I can truly say I enjoyed my stay. Huge shout out to the Jefferson Unit. Special shout out to Big Mama, Wanda, Crystal, Marina, Diamond, Sparkle, Chi Chi, Ashleigh, Velma, Angie, and my social worker Cynthia. Thanks for EVERYTHING!
